The Costa Rican Athletics Federation has already published its race calendar for 2016, revealing the dates for most races of the year that is just beginning. At A Buen Paso we complement this list with information on cross-country races and others not endorsed by FECOA, to form the most complete race calendar in the country. You can view the full calendar HERE.
In the A Buen Paso calendar, the dates for most of the year's most important races already appear:
Reto Jacó Extremo, April 2.
Clásica Sol y Arena, May 14.
Carrera de La Leche, June 5.
Clásica San Juan, June 26.
Correcaminos, July 10.
Reto Powerade, August 28.
Tamarindo Beach Marathon, September 17.
Corre Por Mí, September 25.
Fundación Anna Ross, October 2.
Lindora Run Half Marathon and 10k, November 20.
Start marking the dates and planning your training well to meet your year's goals. Not all races have details finalized yet (cost, date and registration locations, start time, confirmed route, etc.), and that's why the link is not enabled in the A Buen Paso calendar, but as organizers release the details we will complete the information.
Likewise, a large number of races are created as the year progresses, so we are always updating and it is recommended to keep checking the list to stay informed about new races.
